MIR3 is the premier provider of Intelligent Notification and response software for business operations, including crisis management, IT service management, corporate communications, customer relations, supply chain management, event management, or any area that needs reliable two-way notification for groups from one to many thousands.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, test and maintain existing and new software projects
- Work with engineering staff to plan program code enhancements and changes
- Assist in troubleshooting technical support tickets and issues that could not be resolved in Level 2 support
- Provide general programming assistance to other team members/projects as may be needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong web development background (PHP, CSS, HTML)
- Javascript/AJAX and JS Frameworks (jQuery, Prototype, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience working with APIs (REST, SOAP, etc)
- Strong grasp of concurrent programming concepts
- Enjoy working with others in a team atmosphere
- Enjoy maintaining/enhancing code to meet changing customer/industry needs
- Able to effectively manage time while working on multiple projects
- Have a “customer-service” orientation
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- PHP, Java, JUnit, XML and XML Schema, Ant
- Scripting is some language (Python, Perl, Scala, Groovy, etc.)
- Subversion
- Apache Ivy
- SQL, MySQL, Oracle, NOSQL
- jQuery/Prototype
- JSON
- HTML, CSS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent is necessary OR equivalent combination of education training.
