Unlike passive methods of alerting, such as email, pager or pop-up messages, true IN capabilities provide multi-modal, interactive messaging. IN messages are developed using routing, escalation, and device priority rules and are accompanied by pre-defined choices that initiate actions or resolve problems. IN also supports complete historical auditing and real-time reports.
