MIR3 is the premier provider of Intelligent Notification and response software for business operations, including crisis management, IT service management, corporate communications, customer relations, supply chain management, event management, or any area that needs reliable two-way notification for groups from one to many thousands.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate will report to the Director of Pre-Sales Engineering, and will work with both the direct and channel sales teams to bring in new business, drive revenue, and serve as a technical resource in all aspects of the sales process. While individual contribution is key in this role, the ability to work with a variety of other departments as a team player is equally critical. Responsible for supporting quota carrying sales team and helping drive sales.

- Experienced enterprise software sales background

- Possesses a strong understanding of the technology and deep technical skills

- Analytical, technical and detail oriented
- Able to effectively convey value in a demonstration with strong presentation skills
- Able to articulate a technical and sales presentation to customers among a variety of audiences and listen effectively
- Works well in teams and in particular with the channel and channel partners
- Has a passion to solve customer needs and map solutions to those needs
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Clear understanding of Web Services (SOAP/REST) and other API methodologies
- Strong understanding of computer object oriented programming and program languages (PHP, PERL, Python, JAVA), with an understanding of telephony infrastructures and wireless services
- Understanding of industry standard applications from HP, IBM, Microsoft, BMC and others
- Has worked with major F500 accounts as well as channel partners
- Experience in implementing software for onsite POCs
- Strong technical background, ideally with telephony and wireless technologies.
- Knowledge of the ITSM markets a plus
- Knowledge and understanding of the indirect channel model and subscription software (SaaS)
- An understanding of the communications/telephony or broad knowledge of the notification marketplace and technology platforms and solutions
- Experience in emerging entrepreneurial or early stage companies is a plus
- 5+ years pre-sales engineering experience for software companies and ideally having worked for entrepreneurial firms
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent.
