As President and CEO of MIR3, Amir Moussavian is responsible for the execution of the company's overall direction and operations. Mr. Moussavian has over 18 years of technology experience, having previously led several successful and innovative information technology companies. Prior to joining MIR3, Mr. Moussavian was the Chairman and CEO of Contigo Software, an Internet communications industry leader. Under his leadership, Contigo was acquired in June 2000 by Raindance Communications (NASDAQ: RNDC).
Mr. Moussavian's career achievements also include the founding of HawkNet, Inc., a developer and publisher of performance management software for Novell networks, high-speed backup software and Microsoft NT servers. Within two years, Mr. Moussavian successfully grew HawkNet from a start-up venture to its acquisition by BMC Software (NYSE: BMC). Preceding this achievement, Mr. Moussavian served as President and CEO of GigaTrend, Inc., a pioneer in the 4mm data storage hardware and software industry.
In his role as Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Neill oversees and manages all of MIR3's financial management. With over 25 years of financial management, investment banking, and strategic venture planning experience, Mr. Neill has served as the CFO for a number of companies ranging from startup ventures to mid-sized businesses.
Before joining MIR3, Mr. Neill was the CFO at Polexis, Contigo Software, Inc., and HawkNet, Inc. While at HawkNet, Inc., Mr. Neill successfully raised over $20 million in venture capital and managed more than $50 million in corporate cash flow.
Mr. Neill also held financial positions at Ford Motor Company, Hughes Aircraft Company, and Beckman Instruments.
As Chief Technology Officer for MIR3, Dan Long brings considerable technology expertise with over 15 years of software design and development and telecommunications experience. Along with MIR3's software development teams, Mr. Long oversees the day-to-day operations, in both operational support of MIR3's state-of-the-art ASP centers and the development of next-generation technologies.
Prior to joining MIR3, Mr. Long was the Chief Technology Officer of Etherapy.com and New Media Telecommunications, where he led the technical team and helped drive the company's successful acquisition by CyberGold.
Mr. Long has also served as a product architect and lead developer in telephony and Internet-based communication services and products for leading companies such as DHL and WorldXchange. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and holds certifications in SUN and Microsoft network and language technologies.
In his role as MIR3's Chief Strategy Officer, Frank Mahdavi is the intelligent notification industry guru, having complete insight and understanding of market trends, changes and advancements. Mr. Mahdavi brings to MIR3 strategic development, knowledge of growing vertical markets and technology partnerships.
Prior to joining MIR3, Mr. Mahdavi was Director of Professional Services at Peregrine Systems helping to provide enterprise software solutions to Fortune 100 clients. Mr. Mahdavi has worked extensively in business and software development areas, including enterprise software solutions delivery.
Mr. Mahdavi holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from California Polytechnics State University in San Luis Obispo, as well as an MBA from the University of Southern California.
In his position as Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Ken Dixon brings 20 years of sales and sales management experience to the MIR3 organization. Responsible for MIR3's day-to-day revenue generation and development into new vertical markets, Mr. Dixon focuses on showing the value of MIR3's product lines to current and potential clients within the enterprise.
Previously, Mr. Dixon held a CEO position with Satellite Security Systems, a GPS based vehicle location service company and was Vice President of World Wide Sales at Aonix a software services company focused on enterprise development.
Mr. Dixon served 14 years in the USMC where he earned his Flight Wings, an undergraduate degree in Physics from Auburn University, and an MSEE at the Naval Postgraduate School.
As the Vice-President of Client Support and Services, Maz Ghorban brings to MIR3 more than 13 years of experience in the high tech and telecommunications industries. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Ghorban held various senior management and executive positions managing professional services, sales support and event management services at Intercall, the world's largest conferencing provider, and also worked for Raindance Communications, a leader in the web conferencing industry. Before joining Raindance, Mr. Ghorban worked for Mr. Moussavian at Contigo Software, an Internet communications industry leader, which was acquired in June 2000 by Raindance Communications (NASDAQ: RNDC).
Mr. Ghorban is also a member of the Society of Industry Leaders, for Vista Research, a Standard and Poor's company.
