The ideal candidate must have extensive test experience with web based applications, a track record of building/customizing test cases/harnesses and a passion for creating quality, 'bug-free' products. This individual is responsible for creating testing scripts and suites from test cases, providing technical support to clients and performing functional, load, stress, regression and performance testing of various products.
The ideal candidate will have these qualifications:
- At minimum, a Bachelor Degree

Position: Network Operations Director
MIR3 is looking to recruit a Network Operations Director, who will be responsible for providing both technical and managerial leadership to the Network Operations department. The Network Operations Director will primary focus on managing MIR3's day-to-day network infrastructure operations, network infrastructure projects, and providing leadership to a team of Network Engineers. This opportunity is a hands-on technical management position with a full range of responsibilities including all aspects of network planning, implementation, coordination and management.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, installation and documentation of network architecture including: Cisco routers, Cisco and Juniper firewalls, F5 local and global traffic management systems, Cisco switches, HP StorageWorks SANs and Oracle database.
- Design fault-tolerant networks with auto failover.
- Maintain and support network systems to ensure overall availability of company's networks monitoring systems and troubleshooting errors.
- Perform system and equipment upgrades.
- Provide trend analysis of current and future bandwidth demands using network monitoring tools.
- Document network design changes.
- Interface with Support on an ongoing basis
- On-call services after normal business hours
The Ideal Candidate will have these qualifications and skill sets:
- 5-7 years of networking experience in a Cisco-Unix/Linux environment
- Proficient with LAN network design/implementation
- Use BGP in multi-homed network
- Must have network management experience and strong understanding of TCP/IP and related routing protocols, such as OSPF and BGP
- CCDA/CCNA or CCDP/CCNP preferred

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
MIR3 is seeking a pre-sales senior system engineer in support of our direct and channel sales team. The role of the Sr.
Sales System Engineer is to remove technically related buying objections from the sales cycle through pre-sales technical
support for customers, prospects, channel partners, strategic partners, and internal sales. Individual must possess strong,
hands-on technical skills, understand the business drivers behind IT deployments, demonstrate a drive to succeed, be
highly motivated and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with customer technologists and other
colleagues within the organization. You will be required to start as early as 6:00am as much of our business resides on the East coast.
Daily Activities:
- Participate in in-house and on-site meetings, facilitated by sales personnel, with customers, prospects, and partners
- Conduct product demonstrations in-house or on-site
- Work collaboratively with members and management of the sales team to define and address the customer’s technical requirements
- Collaborate with appropriate sales representative on RFP responses.
- Create Microsoft PowerPoint architectural diagrams reflecting proposed solutions.
- Record customer conversations in the company contact management database.
- Assist Marketing in the creation of technically sound collateral
- Serve as a liaison between the customer, Sales and Engineering

- Understanding of general application development principles, such as database, web server, application server, email
server, encryption, etc.
- The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and partners
is essential

clarify use of product features, troubleshoot and to provide workarounds to known problems. Must be organized and able to prioritize/manage
time to handle multiple customers while delivering the appropriate level of support based on criticality. All customer contact must be
entered into a trouble-ticket system.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create presentations for web-based and classroom style training sessions
- Conduct product training using web-based collaboration tools, conference calls and/or during onsite customer visits
- Effectively and professionally communicate product instructions and features
- Assist engineering in QA testing the product before release cycles
- Collaborate with engineering on finding solutions to unknown issues
