inWebServices is a Web Services interface that adds to or extends an application’s communication capabilities by easily embedding true Intelligent Notification (IN) capabilities into the application.
Unlike passive methods of alerting (such as email, pager or pop-up messages), true IN capabilities provide multi-modal, interactive messaging. IN messages are developed using routing, escalation, and device priority rules and are accompanied by pre-defined choices that initiate actions or resolve problems. IN also supports complete historical auditing and real-time reports.

MIR3 announced that in the past week its platform, in use by the University of Pennsylvania for its UPennAlert Emergency Notification System, had undergone an annual campus-wide test by the University's Division of Public Safety. This safety drill was conducted to ensure that all campus constituents—some 53,000 students, faculty and staff—continue to be notified with critical, accurate information in the event of any emergency.
